All it is is a scam to get people to waste money on worthless crap. Cards, candy, jewelry, etc. There is no love, no affection, none. It is just a marketing ploy developed by the same people who brought you St Patrick’s Day and Mother’s Day. That’s right, the greeting card companies. They know idiot dummy saps will spend hundreds of dollars on "gifts" for their "loved ones."
